During the Covid restrictions in 2020/21 a number of activites were instigated to keep the choir members involved. These were a 'Desert Island Discs' invitation to all members in 2020 with a copy of the results, including statistical analysis, given to each member, Regular quizzes (17 during 2020/21), a photographic competion for all members and their families in 2021 and monthly newsletters from a different member of the choir each month (10 during 2021).
As a result of all these activities the choir won a 'Group Hero' award from Making Music, the UK's membership organisation for leisure-time music
